Product Description
The Polar Focus V-DOSC Spreader Beam is designed as an accessory for the standard V-DOSC grid. This unit is also known as a Klondike bar. Initially developed for use in theaters where only one rigging point is available per side, it also provides steep up tilt (up to 20 degrees) to help cover high balconies. L’acoustics has approved the use of the spreader for 20 degree up tilt with a maximum of six enclosures. Using two V-DOSC Spreaders to support a single V-DOSC grid allows side by side chain hoist support points, instead of requiring conventional fore and aft V-DOSC rigging points. This product was the precursor to the Rocker Zbeam (see the link below). Working Load Limit is 2000 pounds (909 kilograms) with a 7:1 design factor.
