These assemblies are great as adjustable length wire rope slings. Since the Clutch Lock fitting is an industrial fitting not rated for critical applications, you may not use these assemblies for suspending loads. However, for a speaker already safely suspended by two fixed length swaged wire rope assemblies with a 10:1 design factor, these units are great for adjusting tilt.
