Product Description
Our festooning link systems are used to self deploy or retract cable as needed for suspended loads moving up or down. They are always used with 'motor up' applications. The link systems are threaded over the chain on an appropriately sized chain hoist. Using 6 feet between deployed links provides a loop hanging down 3 feet when retracted. A typical usage for a 65 foot hoist chain is one bottom link #FL-281-B36 and ten middle links #FL-281-M. It prevents the initial loop of cable from possibly fouling with the hook, shackles, or other hardware directly at the bottom of the chain. Lengths other than 36 inches available upon request.
